I'm playing with Asian Crisis at We Are One Island Japan Relief Concert and Auction this Saturday

Come out to OACC in Oakland this Saturday night for this great event. I will be playing along with the east-west band led by Jason Jong, Asian Crisis. All proceeds go to relief efforts in Japan.

All proceeds at prasantmusic.com go to relief efforts in Japan through March 20th

Dear Friends and listeners,

You all know about the severe effects of the natural disaster that has occurred in Japan. I have contacted a few friends in Tokyo, Japan (I lived/worked there for a summer several years back) and luckily they are ok, though they hoped it would be over soon. The unique charm and warmth of the place has never left me. It's hard to imagine this actually happening.

I'm sure everyone has already been urged to donate to organizations like the Red Cross and probably many of you already have done so.

All proceeds from my music sales go to Japan via Red Cross through March 20, 2011. So please check out what is available at http://music.prasantmusic.com. If you already have all the albums, maybe get a copy for your friends. Or, perhaps it will simply be a reminder to go and personally donate to Red Cross right now.

100% of prasantmusic.com sales go to Haiti until February 1st

Dear Friends,

As relief efforts in Haiti get underway, it is a crucial time to keep the donations going. Most of us have already donated to some of the major organizations.

To add another avenue to this, 100% of all digital sales proceeds from http://music.prasantmusic.com will be donated to Haiti via Red Cross. Not a percentage of, but 100% -- all proceeds. You can name your price so feel free to donate more.

To provide another option, you can add a note at checkout if you want your donation to go to Doctors Without Borders. 

This is only valid for about 5 days, so you have until February 1st midnight PST. This is all to keep things simple and straightforward.

So: any album or track, 100% to Haiti, until February 1st midnight. Please share.
